Andrew Sean Greer
Less, the 2018 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Andrew Sean Greer is a funny tale of Arthur Less, a gay, second-rate novelist who plans a working trip around the world in order to avoid his ex-partner's wedding.
This is a very sweet book about relationships, failures, foibles and the fear of growing older. There are also some very good, but subtle travel tips like the Vulcan Steps in San Fransisco, the Musee Carnvalet in Paris and skiing in Morocco's Atlas Mountains. The book has a light touch and exudes happiness. There is even a bit when he loses his luggage! The perfect summer read.
